Halloween Countdown: HALLOWEEN!
written by Uno Ill Nino in News
Happy Halloween! I hope you enjoyed this feature and found out about a game, song, or movie that maybe you didn't know about before. If not, hopefully you enjoyed a bit of nostalgia through this. Enjoy the final day of the feature and once again, Happy Halloween!
Your game:

BloodRayne: Betrayal has been mentioned more than once on our podcast and for good reason. If Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania had a baby, it would come out something like this. Beautiful art and a fantastic soundtrack help put this one in the top-tier. Trapt was the last entry in Tecmo's Deception series. The short end of it is that you stalk the halls of a haunted castle, setting traps for invaders. Setting these traps is fun and offers a rewarding "I did it!" feeling when you find success, but atmosphere and music are what make this one such a great pick for Halloween.
Your song:
Fun and light-hearted, this one hits all the right notes and can be enjoyed by anyone. Not a Halloween goes by anymore where I don't listen to this. Hopefully some of you out there will make it part of your Halloween tradition too.
Your movie:

The grand-daddy of all slasher flicks, how could I not put it on the countdown? The music is legendary and Micheal Meyers is instantly recognizable by just about anybody. There is Rob Zombie's remake which is worth a watch (not the sequel though) but the fact of the matter is that the original is still the best and if you haven't seen it, you've been denying yourself one of the few horror movies from several decades ago that still holds its own against today's best efforts.
