Listening to ep 125, dear god you two picked the two worst possible people to host the VGAs. Geoff Keighley is a producer of the show. He was the guy who planned everything for last years show which sucked and he contributed to this one. He sucks and is a horrible contribution to video games, he's such a douchebag. Man I dislike him so damn much, he's such a smarmy asshole. Kevin Pereira is just an actor just like Oliva Munn, just trying to get attention, I will admit he's at least tolerable and can be funny but he's not a decent choice for host of that show.
About the youtube guy, jesus christ he was fuckin annoying as hell. He was picked because he was the most ignorant annoying fuck they could find. He was put there most likely to be a fuck you to online reviewer Angry Joe who was snubbed by Geoff Keighley and tried to be made a fool of when he brought his complaints about the show to him last year. I know you guys might not like reviewers like Joe or Spoony or the people of TGWTG (I know you've said you don't like snarky reviewers) but they do bring up valid arguments like we all have about this stupid award show. Video 3 is the most poignant to my point.
The awards for that show are such bullshit too because they are awarded off screen half the time. Instead of awarding them all on stage they have people up there doing random stupid shit. I have nothing against Felicia Day; despite what Jognny seems to think, but she served no purpose to the show. It was constantly just
"Oh let's randomly cut to Felicia as she jumps on a wall of velcro...and now lets cut to her collecting MUFFINS!"

I side with Andrew though, about the game of the year thing, that is. Valve should have gotten something for the cross platform thing for Portal 2 or shit even Konami with Metal Gear Peace Walker's transfarring shit. I'm not trying to hate on Skyrim, I haven't played it, but seriously game of the year it should not be nor Bethesda company of the year. We all know that they constantly release buggy games and Skyrim was no exception. A game like that cannot be a game of the year in my opinion and you can't overlook that shit. It seems like a lot of the media outlets and gamers just want to give it a pass because it's a Bethesda game and that's the norm for them. I don't know, it's just lazy to me. Again I'm not trying to pick a fight honestly but it just annoys me. If people enjoy the game great and I'm glad they do, honestly Nick I am glad you liked it, but I can see Andrews point of view on it.

Man I don't know what else to say, I'm tired and was listening to the show and figured I had to say something even though it was 3am when I started writing.
Oh yea Andrew it's fine that I watched it for you I had nothing better to do but next year I think I'll find something better to do instead. :-P Main reason I watched was because I knew there was going to be news about MGR. I'm honestly disappointed with the news of that game. Luckily it's not an MGS game so it can be whatever they want I guess. MGR is it's own thing and I'm willing to give it a chance but after watching that trailer it went from 'must buy' to 'we'll see.' That trailer seemed so hokey, like such a b movie from the 80s or a cheesy anime just so over the top and that font type just screamed Terminator.
Ok honestly I'm done now, I'll await for someone to tear into my post tomorrow and point out all my poor grammar and spelling errors.
